Seamless Intranet Rebrand for a Leading Disability Support Provider

A major disability support organisation with hundreds of staff across multiple regions needed to rebrand its SharePoint Online intranet to reflect a new, friendlier, and more inclusive identity.

Their Injio intranet, originally implemented several years ago, had become a vital communication hub for a dispersed workforce.

The challenge: update the look and feel quickly, with zero disruption to daily operations.

What We Did

We partnered closely with the client to deliver a smooth, zero-downtime rebrand of their intranet. Together, we:

  • Planned and scoped the rebranding across multiple key SharePoint sites, focusing on visual updates only. No structural changes, minimising risk.
  • Collaborated with the client’s project lead to gather new brand assets and align the rollout with their broader rebrand schedule.
  • Set up a full staging environment to test changes safely before launch.
  • Applied the new branding: updated colour palette, replaced all logos, refreshed navigation bars, mega-menus, and quick-link tiles.
  • Developed PowerShell and Power Automate scripts to automate updates, ensuring consistency and speed across all sites.
  • Conducted thorough testing and quality assurance, addressing feedback and accessibility requirements.
  • Scheduled go-live, deploying the new theme overnight with no disruption to staff.
  • Provided admin training and documentation, including reusable scripts for future branding tweaks.

The Impact

By project’s end, the intranet was visually and technically aligned with the new identity:

  • All sites now feature a bright, accessible colour scheme and modern logo.
  • Navigation and UI elements were refreshed for clarity and consistency.
  • The intranet was upgraded to the latest platform release, adding dynamic branding capabilities and future-proofing the solution.
  • No impact on content or structure. Staff could continue working as usual, with a more pleasant and inclusive interface.
  • Accessibility was significantly improved, meeting WCAG guidelines and making the intranet easier to use for everyone.
  • The project was delivered on time and within budget.

A Great Partnership

The client’s team were fantastic collaborators. Open, responsive, and committed to making the rebrand a success. Their proactive feedback and engagement helped us deliver a seamless transition, and their willingness to act as a reference is a testament to the partnership.

What They Said

“The team were fantastic and made sure we met our deadlines as smoothly as possible.”
